How we collect, use and safeguard your information
We collect the details you give us when placing an order, creating an account or contacting support — your name, email address, shipping/billing address, phone number and the contents of any message you send.
When you visit our store, we automatically receive your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you view, along with cookies and similar identifiers used to keep your cart and recognize repeat visits.
We use your information to process and ship orders, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, send order updates and — only when you opt in — share product news and special offers.
Aggregated, non-identifying analytics help us understand which products and pages are most useful so we can improve the catalogue and the buying experience.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser to remember items in your cart, keep you signed in and measure how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so may break the cart or checkout.
Where required by law (for example in the EU/UK), we ask for your consent before loading non-essential cookies.
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum information needed with payment processors, shipping carriers, tax/regulatory authorities and our hosting/email providers so they can perform services on our behalf.
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to deliver the service they provide to us.
Order data is held on protected servers behind industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls at rest. Card numbers are tokenized by our payment processor — we never store raw card details on our own systems.
We keep account and order records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, honour warranties, meet tax and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes, after which the data is deleted or anonymized.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, and you may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@micwlelectronics.com. We respond within 30 days.
Micwl Electronics is headquartered in China. When you order from outside China, your data is transferred to and processed in our systems in China to fulfil the order. We apply safeguards consistent with applicable cross-border data protection laws.
Our store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always posted on this page, with the effective date below. Material changes are highlighted on the homepage before they take effect.
For any privacy question, request or complaint, email privacy@micwlelectronics.com or write to our Data Protection Officer at the address listed on the Contact page.
